DJ SidVicious will be at the Diesel SF store event (Union Square) for Scratch Music Group. I’ll be showcasing the art of scratching. If you’re in the area and want to record a session come on down to the store.

Recap:
Got the the Diesel store with BSR, Prodijay and Noel and everything went smoothly. Met DJ Tone who was cool as hell. There was two set-ups; Tone mixing on set-up #1 and myself on set-up #2 introducing scratching to customers. The gig supplied 180 energy drinks which got me super jittery. Overall, cool spot, but wish we were outside since the weather was super nice.

Recap:
Got to the event at 8:30AM to get set-up. The equipment and speakers were not ready so spent about 30 minutes getting everything ready. Union Square was windy as heck throughout the event blowing stands, posters, banners, records and slip mats all over the place. Meet an interesting dance group which the sound cut out in the middle of their routine due to the wind issue. Overall, if it weren’t for the wind and the dirty equipment the event would have been perfect. If spinning in Union Square they should think about having it indoor or in another location.
